1. What is Rio-Keratin ® Brazilian Hair Therapy??
Rio-Keratin ® Brazilian Hair Therapy is an innovative Keratin Hair Treatment Complex that restores health to damaged hair, reducing volume and eliminating frizz and making the hair manageable. It will also straighten the hair and will leave it with a silky and shiny look.
2. How long does the Rio-Keratin ® Brazilian Hair Therapy effect last??
The average time is about 90 days, depending on the condition of the hair, on how well the treatment was done, on how well the hair is maintained after the treatment, and on the number of washes and on the quality of the products used to wash the hair. For longer duration, we strongly recommend the regular use of our Rio-Keratin ® Maintenance products, which are especially formulated to prolong the treatment effect.
3.What types of hair can receive the Rio-Keratin ® Brazilian Hair Therapy??
Any type of hair, regardless of its condition and whether it has been colored, chemically treated, permed or straightened. In fact, the treatment effect lasts longer in previously chemically treated hair than in virgin hair.
4. How often should the Rio-Keratin ® Brazilian Hair Therapy be done??
Normally every 3 or 4 months, as needed. Depending on the type of hair, it can be done monthly, or even after 15 days if required. However, the minimum interval should be at least 30 days.
5. What kind of care should the client take following the Keratin treatment?
During the first three or four days following the Keratin treatment the client should not tie the hair in a ponytail or otherwise. The hair should remain loose during this period. Also, swimming in the ocean or swimming pool should also be avoided, as the abrasiveness of salt and chlorine can expedite removal of treatment ingredients from the hair. The use of gels, spray, mousse and other chemical products should also be avoided during the first few days.
6. Can the hair be dyed after the treatment?
Yes, but we recommend to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks after the treatment. Preferably, the Keratin treatment should be done after the hair has been dyed.
7. How much Rio-Keratin chocolate or Grape Extract Keratin Complex is necessary to do a treatment?
About 2 to 3 ounces, depending on the quantity and condition of the hair being treated.
8. Are there dangers in using the Rio-Keratin ® Brazilian Hair Therapy?
Not that we know of. Our products are being used in the finest salons around the world and all we have received are compliments!
